Opening Ceremony of Cat Ba Tourist Festival 2008

March 28nd to April 1st , the well-known April 1st Festival was held in Catba Town to celebrate Uncle Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Cathai fishing village years ago. The memorable event has been officially recognized by the State as the Vietnam tradition fishing day, and the annual opening of the Catba tourist season as well as the launching of South Fishing Season of fishmen.
